Esta mañana finalmente el levante nos ha dado una tregua y hemos salido a avistar desde Tarifa. Ya estábamos echando de menos a nuestros cetáceos residentes y las inmejorables vistas del norte de Marruecos y la costa tarifeña.
Después de un rato de navegación hemos encontrado a los animales. Los calderones no se han hecho esperar y nos han ofrecido un magnífico espectáculo. Se han acercado al barco y nos han deleitado con su presencia en las ventanas de visión submarina. En realidad eran ellos quienes nos miraban a nosotros. Ha sido un dia fantástico.
This morning we finally could sail in the strait of Gibraltar. The levante wind decreased in intensity so we went out to try to find the animals. The pilot whales appeared suddenly, and they have been with us for a long time.
They have been really close to the boat so we have seen them through the underwater windows. It has been magic. It looked like they were watching us and not on the other side. We also could see a newborn calf with his mother, that has been a really emotive moment.
